Since the early 1980s, the name Freiherr von Dörnberg has stood for reliable tax advisory services in Hamburg-Bergedorf. The roots of our firm go back to the tax advisory office founded by Mr Otto Scholz, which was taken over in 1991. In 1996, the tax office established by Mr Burkhard Kubisch in the 1970s was added and fully integrated into the existing structures. At the beginning of 2024, Mr Sebastian Wolski, M.Sc. took over the management of the firm. Since 2025, we have been serving our clients from our current offices at Schilfpark 15 in Hamburg-Bergedorf.
Today, we support a diverse client base — from private individuals whose annual income tax returns we reliably handle year after year, to medium-sized companies from a wide range of industries and legal forms. This diversity shapes our daily work and gives us insight into business and tax-related matters from many different perspectives.

Our firm works with a team of experienced specialist staff. For quality reasons, we do not employ untrained personnel or career changers, due to the complexity of tax regulations. Very low staff turnover ensures continuity in client support — many of our clients have had the same contacts for years, who know their individual situation in detail.
